A stay in the city of the most famous couple, Romeo and Juliet, is the grand prize of the “LOVE IN VERONA” campaign, organized by IULIUS MALL in the month of love. Moreover, other 1,800 presents will reward those people whose favorite destination for shopping and entertainment will be IULIUS MALL, especially between February 3rd and 14th 2012. During 3rd – 8th May 2010, BEST Iaşi in collaboration with the „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University and Students Cultural Center of Iasi are organizing the 10th edition of the JobShop® Career National Event. JobShop® is an event which addresses the students and graduates of Iasi, mainly those who have studied technical specialties, offering them the opportunity to be in direct contact with the companies’ representatives, discuss about the opportunities and conditions related to the current work environment and receive career support. Religious paintings exhibition
An exhibition featuring religious glass paintings will be held between the 26th of March and the 7th of April, on the second floor of Iulius Mall. The artist, Draga Popa, signs an original and innovative naïve art collection filled with expressive eloquence, maintaining though the traditional techniques proved in time by the religious painting artisans. „I am only making naïve religious glass paintings during a month and a half each year, but within this interval I am gladly discovering new themes, compositions and decorative ornaments of a thrilling simplicity. I am continuously improving my working technique and the expressiveness of line”, declared Draga Popa. Draga Popa is a graduate of the “George Enescu” Art University in Iasi, the Painting department, and she is preponderantly producing contemporary art, in the photo and video fields. She attended exhibitions in our country as well as abroad, in countries such as Finland, France, Italy and Canada.
In the first week of the Spring Trinket, ladies will be pampered at Iulius Mall, just like some princesses. The exhibits contain symbols of the traditional Asian art, such as the crane, mountain, lotus, garden, water lily, dragon, agriculture, Chinese landscapes (the Great Wall of China) and nature itself. The exhibition is held on the 2nd floor and is open for visits until 8th November.
